Dinner Table – Conversation Cards

Project Overview:

Dinner Table is a financial literacy program designed to help families build healthy money habits together. My role was to design a set of conversation cards that could live naturally on a family’s kitchen table: beautiful enough to leave out, and functional enough to spark meaningful discussions during meals.

Each card features a quote on the front for an elevated, look. On the back, we created two question types:

Jump Starters: simple, approachable prompts for younger kids
Deep Divers: more complex questions for older kids and teens

The cards are divided into five themed categories, covering topics like saving, investing, generosity, smart spending, and healthy financial habits. My goal was to balance warmth and sophistication through color, layout, and subtle texture, creating a set that felt at home in a family environment while supporting Dinner Table’s mission of building lifelong financial confidence.

The final collection blends thoughtful instructional structure with a calm, home-friendly aesthetic making financial literacy feel less like a lesson and more like a shared ritual.
